We are mid 20's honeymooners going to Belize in beginning of November. We like having access to night life, but we are not big partiers.

Has anyone had any experience at Corona del Mar at Woody's Wharf because it seems to be very inexpensive for what the pictures show you get?

It's 1/2 mile south of San Pedro on Ambergris Caye.
Is it better to be on the South side of San Pedro or on the North side?

Actually, if any of you know anything, either good or bad about any of the following I would greatly appreciate it. Sundiver, Belizeanshores, Victoria House, Mata Chica, The Palms, Xanadu or the previously inquired Corono del Mar. These are all on San Pedro.

We will be on our honeymoon and would like to be reasonably close (via walking or easy cab access) to the city for going out at night if we so desire. This is our first time to Belize and being our honeymoon we are looking to make the most of it.

Because of this forum, we've booked 4 nights at Ian's Caves in addition to the beach half.

Is it worth it to book our tours in advance? Is the weather quite variable in early November?
We wouldn't want to pay up and then not be able to get what we paid for if the weather is bad.

I wouldn't book and pay for tours in advance on Ambergris Caye, there are plenty of tour operators and November is the beginning of the high season, but its still not too busy yet, so you will have lots of choices.

Sorry, I should have specified, we have been asked to book our outings in advance for Ian's caves. Ian said he wanted to make sure he would have the appropriate guides available for what we are interested in doing.

For that reason, we were thinking of doing a package.

But if the weather is bad, I'm worried that we may lose our money if we put it down ahead of time.
Hmmm....what to do?!
