Many commonwealh countries have afternoon tea around 4:00 pm. Do Belizeans follow this tradition?

A lot of Belizeans refer to the evening meal as TEA. and the midday meal as dinner. Many local people tend to eat the main meal of the day in the early evening particularly on the weekdays.
I am not sure if any of the bigger hotels do have an Afternoon TEA tradition.
Tea is a popular beverage throughout Belize, often served British style with sugar and milk, also popular is condensed milk served with tea. sometimes offered with your meal, not as a later addition. Most grocery stores have 2 or 3 of the popular British brands on offer.

I've become friends with a lot of Belizeans during the years I've been here, and none follow the tradition.

We are all now working at what was tea time! I only remember the older women still having tea together, but they all past retirement then and their kids gone. And most of them now too.
