I'm making plans to head down to Belize from Colorado. I'm planning on leaving around the end of March to (possibly) late April. I have been living on and off in Mexico over the last few years and have driven through Mexico over the years and as far as Guatemala and back a few times. I have always had someone with me. I have never had any problems but I would like to travel in a caravan or I would consider sharing a ride with someone. I'm a little concerned about the possibility of hostility or aggression towards Americans because of our new administration. I'm also interested in any advice or experiences - suggested routes, area's to avoid, etc. Or anything at all. Thanks!
